2K Performance Ski Club is a friendly Club! We are not just developing skiing skills; we are about teaching all our members to support and respect friends and the adults in the Club; but most of all our ethos is for our members to accept the challenge of skiing, like any sporting activity, giving encouragement to each other is very important. We create training sessions for children & young people to learn in an environment and manner that suits them and helps them develop their skills.
Our instructors, coaches and other volunteers dedicate their skills, experience, and time to encourage and develop all our skiers.
Statement of Care
2K Performance Ski Club accepts that all children, young people and adults have the following basic rights:

- To be treated with dignity & respect
- To be cared for as a youg person
- To be kept safe
2K Performance Ski Club will provide training sessions where all members feels safe and cared for, valued, and treated with dignity and respect. 2K Performance Ski Club have a duty of care to safeguard & protect each young person attending the club.
What Club Welfare Officers Do
2K Performance Ski Club is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of children who ski with the club.
The Club Welfare Officer role is to oversee the Safeguarding and welfare of all our members, and to be a point of contact to discuss any concerns. You will see Nicola at The Hill most Thursday evenings and some Sunday mornings so if you need to discuss any concerns that you have please be assured Nicola will be happy to listen and help. If you need to contact Nicola outside of club time about a safeguarding issue please use the contact button on this page to email Nicola directly and confidentially.
Anyone who wishes to raise a matter of concern may do so knowing that 2K will deal with it sensitively, confidentially, discreetly and with honesty of purpose.
Transport & Supervision of children
- All parents and carers are responsible for the safe delivery and collection of their children (anyone under the age of 18) from any 2K Performance Ski Club activity.
- If parents arrange for other parents to deliver or collect their child, they are responsible for ensuring the safety and suitability of that travel arrangement.
- It is not the responsibility of 2K Performance Ski Club to arrange transport for children to or from training or events.
- Coaches or club officials will not transport children to or from training or events
- If this policy prevents your child from attending the activities of 2K Performance Ski Club, you should discuss this with the Club Welfare Officer
- Only children aged 8 years and over may be left unaccompanied at club during the training session, however any parents leaving their child should only do so after agreeing this with the Club Welfare Officer or coaches who will ensure we have correct contact details before the parent / carer leaves. Parents / Carers must ensure they are back at The Hill before the training session finishes.
